It is that time of the year when we’re in need of a few good members to step up and lead the group!
Please consult your peers and nominate those willing and able to represent the LGBT Community at PTO for the next year. Nominations are open here. Those nominated will run for positions on our Board of Directors subject to a majority vote at our Annual Holiday Lunch on December 12.
As you may know, the group is obligated to have at least one annual public meeting. Lambda traditionally has done this in December and during the meeting the group elects its board of officers for the coming calendar year.
Larry Sternbane, our current Chair is stepping down from the position. Please send in your nominations for Lambda Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. The Advisor position is traditionally reserved for the former chair, unless he declines to participate.
The meeting will be held on December 17, at Pasara Thai Restaurant, starting at 11:15. RSVP by Wednesday Dec 10, so that we may call for reservations.
