Connecting With Satellite Offices

baggiesThis week, the Affinity Groups have been asked to prepare items for Care Boxes, which will be sent to all of our Satellite Offices, just in time for Community Day. Our packages (pictured on the left), are full of brochures and Common Ground magnets and ready to go! We’d like to also send warm greetings to all our colleagues in Colorado, Michigan and California, as well as to those who hotel away from the main campus.

The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity & Diversity would like for us to come up with ways in which we can help those who are away from the main agency feel included and engaged in the USPTO community. Have a suggestion, experience or a good idea you can share? Contact us!

Join us for the Community Day Parade!

The Lambda PTO group prepares to participate on the Community Day Parade 2014Last year, was the first time for Lambda at the Community Day Parade. We had a good time, carried a huge rainbow flag and walked with pride with our colleagues and friends. This year, we’re doing it again! Come join us as we assemble by the Command Booth this May 5th at 10:30 AM. We usually try to wear a pink shirt or the colors of the rainbow, your choice. Any ideas for props, trinkets or noisemakers we could use is very welcome. Let’s fly the rainbow flag!

Did you know we have a Facebook Group?

Facebook thumbs up symbol for 'like'Our members and their personal level of comfort are important to us, so our Facebook group’s privacy level is set to “secret”. This means the group is not listed, or visible on member’s profiles. To join, you must be invited in, either by a Facebook friend, or by e-mail. Once in the group, your Facebook profile keeps your personal privacy settings as they are. You will also be able to post on the group’s timeline, share links, photos, articles, invites and connect with other members. This group is best for those of us who are frequent Facebook users and like to keep in touch online.

If you’d like an invite to our Lambda PTO Facebook group, send a message to the lambda inbox and one of our admins will send you an invite by e-mail.
